Home moving services in Fairview

Champion Moving is a moving company that moves Fairview homes with our own crew. No subcontractors. Every move starts with a free estimate, and on every one the floors are covered and large pieces are wrapped in blankets or plastic wrap. Margo M. wrote that we “packed and covered the floor to protect it” (Google review, 2 weeks ago).

Local moves under the mailbox rule

A move from one Fairview street to another has to fit the town’s parking rules at both ends. On weekdays and Saturdays from 8am to 5pm the truck stays 10 ft clear of curbside mailboxes, and it never stands in front of a driveway. Local moves

House moves: rooms, stairs and parking

For a Fairview house, tell us the rooms, the heavy pieces and any stairs, and where a truck can stop out front. Beds and tables come apart at the old house and go back together in the rooms you pick. Home moves

Apartments near Fairview Town Center

Most Fairview apartments sit near Fairview Town Center, in three- and four-story buildings, some with elevators and garages. Tell us the floor at each end and where the truck can park, and ask your building about its rules. Apartment moves

Business and office moving

We also move offices and commercial spaces. For a Fairview business, tell us the loading door, the floor and the hours that work, and fragile equipment is wrapped before it is carried out. Commercial moves

Packing, then cardboard to the recycle cart

The crew can pack rooms into boxes we supply and unpack at the new place. Fairview has no moving-box pickup, so after the unpack, flattened cardboard goes in your recycle cart. Packing and unpacking

Long-distance moves and the 15 ft trailer rule

Leaving Fairview for somewhere farther in Texas? Long-distance moves are one of our services. A trailer over 15 ft can stand on a Fairview street only while loading, never overnight (§12.03.001(b)), so loading is planned to finish the same day. Long-distance moves

TV mounting booked with the move

Want the TV on the wall before the crew leaves your new Fairview house? Mounting can be booked with the move, and so can a plug-in washer, dryer or fridge hookup. Gas and hard-wired work stays with licensed trades. Move-in setup

Home movers in Fairview: mailboxes and driveways

Fairview is a small town, an estimated 10,913 residents on July 1, 2025 (Census Vintage 2025), up 5.2% on the April 2020 estimates base, and its code has several rules about trucks on the street.

When you call, give us your street and tell us where the truck can stand out front: where the driveways are, and where the curbside mailbox sits. Fairview has a rule for each, and both shape where we park on move day.

Clear of the mailbox

No parking within 10 ft of a curbside mailbox from 8am to 5pm, except Sundays.

Driveways kept clear

Fairview bars standing in front of a public or private driveway.

Large pieces wrapped

Moving blankets or stretch wrap on the large pieces.

Our own movers, no subcontractors

Loaded, driven and unloaded by our own crew. No subcontractors.

Trailer, mailbox and bulk pickup rules in Fairview

Long trailers only while loading

Fairview §12.03.001(b) lets a semi-tractor, tractor-trailer rig or any trailer over 15 ft park on a public street only while loading or unloading, and never overnight.

Mailbox and driveway rules

Under §12.03.006, no standing in front of a driveway, and no parking within 10 ft of a curbside mailbox from 8am to 5pm, except Sundays. A special parking permit exists under §12.03.010.

Bulk and brush once a month

Bulk and brush go once a month in the week set by your address. Put them out by 7am Monday of that week, not before 6pm the Friday before, up to 12 cu yd.

Fairview has no moving-box pickup, so flattened cardboard goes in your recycle cart. HOA rules vary, so check yours too.

Moving across Fairview, from SH-5 to E Stacy Rd

We move homes across Fairview, from the Village of Fairview near SH-5 to Hawks Wood off E Stacy Rd, and on the streets near Central Expressway and W Stacy Rd.

The same town rules apply on all of them. Under §12.03.006 there is no standing in front of a driveway and no parking within 10 ft of a curbside mailbox from 8am to 5pm, except Sundays. Give us your nearest cross street and where the mailboxes sit, and we pick the truck’s spot before move day.

Questions about moving in Fairview

Not if it is a semi-tractor, a tractor-trailer rig or a trailer longer than 15 ft. Fairview Code §12.03.001(b) lets those park on a public street only while loading or unloading, and never overnight. On a Fairview move we plan to finish loading and move the truck the same day.

Fairview §12.03.006 bars parking within 10 ft of a curbside mailbox from 8am to 5pm, except Sundays, and bars standing in front of any driveway. Tell us where your mailbox and your neighbors’ driveways are when you call (214) 407-2684.

Fairview collects bulk items and brush once a month, in a week set by your address. Put items out by 7am Monday of your week and not before 6pm the Friday before, up to 12 cu yd. Fairview has no moving-box pickup, so cardboard goes in the recycle cart.

Two documents. First, a written proposal that shows the maximum price, says whether it is binding or not-to-exceed, and states when and how payment is due and the mover’s liability for your goods, if any (43 TAC §218.56). Second, the TxDMV brochure “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move in Texas” (§218.55). Read both before the crew starts loading in Fairview.

Same-day and last-minute moves are one of our services. Whether a crew is free today depends on the schedule, so call (214) 407-2684 and ask. On a Fairview weekday, plan the truck spot around the 8am to 5pm mailbox rule.
